With so many retreats popping up in Bali its hard to know which one is right for you! Whether you are looking to learn a new skill, connect with other travellers, surf, teach yoga, be active, be inactive, there is something for every type of traveller. In this post I share 6 amazing retreats in Bali for women:
WE ARE TRAVEL GIRLS – BALI RETREAT
We Are Travel Girls is a popular female travel community, founded by myself and Vanessa Rivers. Since our launch in June 2016 we have amassed a community of over 200K followers and now we want to bring them together offline. We are launching WATG Travel With Us, a series of retreats and trips where you can join Vanessa and I around the world. At our Bali retreat we will be taking you to see the best of Bali, the focus of the week will be to connect with other women in the community, to have fun, but also leave some time for workshops on blogging, social media, building a community and much more.

DESA SENI – YOGA RETREAT
When you Google ‘Yoga Retreat In Bali’, you will come up with alot of results. But Desa Seni stands out against the rest due to its daily programme of yoga, teaching training and the lush surroundings that you will call home during your stay. The resort was carefully built over 11 years ago, bringing together Indonesian Joglo structures to create a village of small houses which provide your accommodation during your retreat.

Institute Of Code was founded in 2016 by Tiny May and her boyfriend Emilio. They saw an opportunity to re-imagine the way that students learn, and launched a 10 day all inclusive immersive coding bootcamp at a luxury villa in Bali. Fast forward and they are now launching a Female Entrepreneur Retreat. The retreats will be one week where you can co-work with 15 other female entrepreneurs, participate in masterminds sessions on photography, digital marketing, coding and much more, whilst also allowing for some fun and time to explore beautiful Bali.
MONDO SURF VILLAGE RETREATS
Mondo Surf Village was founded by three friends Quico, Arvid and Bruno, Mondo, who were all avid surfers who wanted to create a place where they could share their passion with other travellers. Surfing is the main activity on offer at the resort. There are several different retreat packages, including a 7 night Surf & Sun package which includes accommodation, 5 surf lessons (including equipment, instructors & travel), 6 yoga sessions, breakfast and free use of scooters. Other packages include photography lessons, martial arts, yoga, massages or a mix of all the above if you select the Lifestyle package.
THE CHILLHOUSE – SURF, BIKE & YOGA
If you are into surfing, biking and yoga then The Chillhouse is for you. Located in Canggu The Chillhouse offers a range of retreat packages, as well as the option to mix and match different activities to suit your own preferences. All this comes in a gorgeous accommodation in Canggu where you can connect with other guests, enjoy delicious organic meals and stay in private bungalows.
THE GODDESS RETREAT
Founded by Chelsea Ross 2003, Goddess Retreats prides itself of being the original surf, yoga and wellness retreat for women in Bali. Chelsea says “I was inspired to create “Goddess Retreats” because I wanted to provide a space where women could not only have a fun healthy holiday, but also have a very personal, life-transforming experience in a truly supportive retreat environment.” The retreats focus on providing a positive environment for women where you can participate in surf & yoga activities, explore Bali, eat nutritious food, enjoy spa treatments and leave feeling truly full filled.
