Having seen colourful beach huts all over Instagram, from Australia to England I really wanted to find the ones down in Bournemouth, close to where my mother lives. There are so many gorgeous beach huts in this area on the South Coast of England, but the prettiest ones , that imitate a Dulux colour card, are east of Bournemouth Pier.
Beach huts have been popular in the UK for years and whilst these rarely come up for the sale if one does they come with price tags running into the tens of thousands of pounds. Buying one of these colourful sheds is out, so the next option is just wander around, take photos by them and watch as old couples fall asleep together in deckchairs in the English summer sun.
Park up in one of the many car parks close the pier and wander down to the beach. After about 500 yards you will be greeted by the first set of colourful yellow huts, slowly fading to green, then blue and finally the Instagrammers dream pinks and purples!
